Acceptable use

Acceptable use policy

This applies to the EkaIQ platform and to services we deliver for clients. It exists so accounts stay in good standing with us and with the social platforms we publish to.

Last updated 2026. Questions: use the contact form.

This document is written in plain English for a beta product and is still pending professional legal review. It describes how EkaIQ actually works today and will be updated as the product changes.

You may not use EkaIQ to

  • Publish unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or harassing content.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, or contact people who have not consented.
  • Impersonate a person, business or brand you are not authorised to represent.
  • Publish to accounts you do not own or have written permission to manage.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as independent verification, advice or endorsement.
  • Infringe copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, platform limits or access controls.
  • Scrape, resell or redistribute the platform without a written agreement.

Content you generate

AI drafts are a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing anything before it is published, including factual claims, regulated wording and pricing. In regulated sectors your own compliance sign-off is required.

Social platform rules

Publishing through connected accounts is subject to each platform's own terms. If a platform restricts or removes an account, we cannot override that decision and any content limits it imposes apply to your workspace too.

Messaging and follow-up

Email and WhatsApp follow-up we build for you must be consent-based and must include a way to stop. We will not implement follow-up that breaches WhatsApp's business policy or applicable marketing rules.

Training workspaces

Training accounts are for learning only. Publishing is simulated, analytics are simulation data, and training workspaces must not be used to run a real business or to contact real customers.

Enforcement

Where we believe this policy has been breached we may suspend publishing, suspend the account or end the engagement. Where the breach is accidental we will normally tell you and give you a chance to fix it first.
